It is a common yet alarming issue that in India a lot of children drop their schools before they reach the 10th standard. Apart poverty being the prime factor, lack of awareness and correct guidance along with society’s perception and acceptance of the poor, are some of the reasons that leads them to leave their studies. Hence, many a time we come across them of as child laborers doing odd jobs, their childhood being tragically slashed in the bud. Because of the absence of proper education and guidance, number of these children often indulges themselves in anti social activities which turms them into drug addicts thieves and pick pockets, member of beggary rackets and other kind of petty criminals. Thus, Nayi Roshni Foundation is only trying to make a humble effort to teach children and aware them about the power of knowledge.

Nayi Roshni Foundation, registered in December, 2014, is the philanthropic wing of Sky International Academy. From the day of its inauguration, the organization has been doing a number of activities to uplift and create awareness for the better living of the backward and deprived sections of the society. Reaching out to the children and allowing them the opportunity to know more about leading a good and healthy life has been the underlying vision of the founding body along with the motto of enhancing the skills of youths so as to enable them lead a respectable living.

“Ek Nayi Soch Siksha Ki Aur” being our symbol of hope, we aspire to give the underprivileged children a chance to sharpen their hidden talents and become responsible, leading them to contribute towards the society. Children are the backbone of a country, on whose shoulders lies the future of a nation’s growth and future. A child whose legitimate place is at school is found to be holding a chisel in his hand to supplement the income of his family. This not only prevents detrimental to their health and leads to the intellectual and physical stunting of their growth. Deprivation of the life of academics and other activities of joyful childhood leads to underdevelopment of their innate capacities, which further perpetuates a scenario of poverty, illiteracy underdevelopment and deprivation.
